8 NIGHTS - BUSH AND BEACH MALINDI SPECIAL

Day 1
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, briefed by a  Topical Adventures representative and drive through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee plantation to the cool Kenyan highlands to arrive at the Sweet waters Tented Camp. Lunch at the Camp and at 1600hrs; enjoy an afternoon game drive within the reserve, which has also a private sanctuary for chimpanzees and rhinos. Dinner and overnight at camp.


Day 2
Depart after breakfast and proceed south to the Aberdare Country Club. The club is the base hotel for your tree hotel-The Ark. Lunch at the club. At 1430hrs; transfer to the Ark which is located in the Aberdare National Park, with small overnight bags as most of the luggage is left at the club. The Ark has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and photography of wild game. Dinner and overnight of game viewing at the lodge.


Day 3
After breakfast, transfer back to the base hotel to retrieve rest of your luggage and drive towards the Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving at Lake Nakuru Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive in park that also takes you to the shores of the lake famous for its birdlife especially flamingos that form a pink hue across the lake. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4
Depart Nakuru after breakfast and drive through the floor of the Rift Valley to the world famous Maasai Mara game reserve, arriving at Keekorok Lodge / Similar in time for lunch. At 1600hrs enjoy an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5
Full day in the reserve with both morning and afternoon game drives at 0630hrs and 1600hrs respectively. The Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti and its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game together with predators that feed on them. All meals and overnight at Keekorok Lodge / Similar.

Day 6
Say good-bye to the “bush” as you departs the Mara and drive back to Nairobi arriving early afternoon. Lunch at the carnivore and thereafter proceed to JKIA airport or Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Malindi. Met on arrival and transferred to Plan Hotel Resort/similar where you are booked on half board. Dinner & Overnight at Plan Hotel Resort/similar.

Malindi conjures up visions of a great historic town that has journeyed through ages. The culture, economy and general setup of any given place changes with time, and Malindi has journeyed through these eras with much pomp and flair from the time of the early Chinese and Arab traders to the Portuguese sailors and later on to European settlers who alongside other investors have transformed Malindi into a reputable destination of tourism importance. Yet there is still much warmth and hospitality of the people of Kenya experience here in Malindi.

Their friendliness and welcoming attitude among others is a charm that cannot be rivaled in any other tourist destination the world over. Malindi is known for its culinary prowess with its restaurants, hotels, coffeehouses and other eating places offering a wide range of cuisines ranging from local flavors to international cuisines. The revival of the architectural industry and carpentry specializing in local wood artifacts is something to be savored by all visitors.

Malindi has got various woodcarvers who can make very unique furniture and also the famous Lamu beds.

Given that Malindi is a seaside resort, do not forget to go out swimming in the warm waters, go deep sea fishing or visit the marine park alongside sunbathing and other beach sports in this lovely aquatic paradise. Various activities, religious, cultural and other activities which involve the whole of Malindi community do take place and tourists are invited to attend such functions and have a feeling of being part of the community, for example, participation in beach cleaning, tree planting and religious festivals.

DAY 7 & 8
You have two more leisurely days to enjoy the beach and activities available at Plan Hotel Resort.
Overnight at Plan Hotel or similar. Plan Hotel has air conditioned rooms,satelite tv,aerobic gym,Free laundry e.t.c. A resort with world class services.

DAY 9
Spend your morning at leisure. After lunch you will be transferred to the airstrip where you will depart by air to Nairobi for your international flight back home.
